Welcome to my site. I started drawing comics in 5th grade. They starred Dante Robinson, Douglas Jalopy, and Murve. I drew them until 8th grade.

Dante: The original star, leader, and every-boy. He's a rip-off of Dante Robinson from the Backyard Sports computer games, so in the beginning he was also obsessed with food. In 7th grade I made him taller, made his head rounder, and changed his name to Divad.

Douglas: The most conservative and neurotic of the bunch. He's never seen without his baseball cap. I based his design largely on Sid from Hey Arnold.

Murve: The really dumb, lumpy headed, happy-go-lucky, pink-haired one. He stole the show in the end. A lot of people thought his hair was based on Marge Simpson, but it was actually based on a one-off character on Hey Arnold. An old lady with pink hair, a peg leg, and one eyebrow.

I only drew four comics in 5th grade, but drew over 100 between 6th and 7th grade. The 5th grade comics are lost forever, but I've been carrying around the others since I drew them. I'm finally the happy owner of a scanner, so now those comics are on this website.

My main influences at the time were Calvin & Hobbes, The Simpsons, Humongous Entertainment's Backyard Sports video games, and Captain Underpants. There's a lot of slapstick, and a lot of pre-teen boy humor. Enjoy.
